The Asbury Park Board of Education Reorganization Meeting will be held on Thursday, January 4 at 6PM at 1100 Third Avenue in Asbury Park. Incumbents Joe Grillo, Anthony Remy, and the newly elected Wendi Glassman will be sworn in for three-year terms.

The Board will have the opportunity to vote to install new officers. Caritta Cook is the outgoing president and chose not to run for reelection. Shadeen Alls Bey, the former vice president, resigned in December.

Asbury Park Reporter will livestream the meeting via YouTube, Facebook, and AsburyParkReporter.com/Live.

A diverse group of established and seasoned journalists, writers, filmmakers and notable Asbury Park advocates and civic leaders have come together to form the Asbury Park Media Collective (APMC). The organization is new but the long-standing working relationships among the members, coupled with an impressive collective track record in civic media in Asbury Park and beyond provides a solid foundation for this new initiative.
